The Solberg Endowment

A Legacy of Generosity and Commitment

In January 2021, a remarkable gesture of generosity was made by the Solberg family to the Benefis Teton Medical Center Foundation. This donation, made in honor of Loren Solberg and in loving memory of Chet Solberg, laid the foundation for what is now known as the Solberg Endowment.

Purposeful Impact

Guided by the wishes of the Solberg family, the distributions from the Solberg Endowment are dedicated to projects that uplift and enhance the daily lives of residents in our Long Term Care facility. This decision resonates deeply with the Solberg family’s experiences. Chet Solberg, a cherished resident of the BTMC Long Term Care for several years, received exceptional care that left a lasting impression on his children. Their gratitude for the unparalleled care Chet received during his stay is reflected in their generous contribution.

Loren Solberg: A Pillar of Support

Loren Solberg, Chet’s son, stands as a testament to unwavering support and dedication to the BTMC Foundation. Renowned for his profound love for western art, Loren’s dual passion for the foundation and art has been instrumental in the soaring success of our annual Shadows of the Past Art Auction. Held each fall, this fundraiser has grown exponentially, thanks to Loren’s relentless advocacy in the western art community. His efforts to engage artists and buyers have not only elevated the quality of our auction but have also expanded its reach and popularity.
